The main house brings together a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and a living room with comfortable sofas, lounge chairs, and an open fireplace. A TV snug with Apple TV offers a cozy retreat for quieter evenings. The layout flows naturally between indoors and the terrace, making the most of Gotland's long summer light.

Four bedrooms across the main house and guest house. The main house has a king-size bedroom, and two bunk bed rooms — well suited for families with children. The guest house has a king-size bedroom with its own bathroom and small kitchen, offering privacy for additional guests. Two bathrooms in total plus an outdoor shower. All made up with luxury linen, towels, bathrobes, and Byredo bathroom amenities.

A large terrace overlooks the open field, set up for outdoor dining with a barbecue, dining table, and lounge area. A jacuzzi and sauna complete the outdoor wellness offering. The spacious lawn is well suited for outdoor games and relaxed summer afternoons. An outdoor shower adds convenience after a day at the beach.

Villa Sommaräng is located in Ljugarn on Gotland's eastern coast, a beloved seaside village known for its sandy beaches, unique rauk rock formations, and unhurried pace. Cycling and hiking trails run along the scenic coastline. Visby Airport is approximately 45 minutes by car. The ferry terminal is also around 45 minutes.

Ranked the number one restaurant in Ljugarn, Bruna Dörren is the kind of place that ends up anchoring an entire stay. Part restaurant, part bar, part summer gathering point, it has a relaxed, unhurried energy that feels genuinely its own. The menu has a playful dedication to potatoes: raggmunk, fish and chips, burgers, seasonal salads, alongside pizza and a kitchen that draws on both Swedish and broader influences. There are several bars, both indoors and out, with one of Gotland's largest beer selections, over 100 varieties, as well as a good range of rum. Live music and entertainment run through the season, and the garden terrace has the kind of atmosphere where an afternoon drink turns naturally into dinner. A fixture in Ljugarn, and deservedly so.

Strandcafé & Restaurang sits right on the beach in Ljugarn, on Gotland's quieter eastern coast — and the position is hard to fault. Tables spill out toward the sand, the menu runs from morning coffee to evening à la carte, and the atmosphere is entirely unhurried. The kitchen moves between Swedish classics and broader influences — moules frites, slow-cooked lamb, fresh salads — with enough on the menu to satisfy both those who want a proper meal and those who just want a cold drink and somewhere to sit. There's homemade ice cream in the afternoon and minigolf for anyone who needs a reason to stay longer. A natural anchor to any day in Ljugarn, and the kind of place you end up returning to.

Housed in a trading house from 1860 in the heart of Ljugarn, Smakrike is the most considered dining option in the village. The kitchen is built around local, seasonal Gotland produce, and the format runs from a bistro menu to a full tasting menu with wine pairings for those who want to make an evening of it. You can eat inside in the dining room, out on the porch, or in the garden greenhouse, and the atmosphere is unhurried and personal throughout. It is the kind of restaurant that takes what it does seriously without taking itself too seriously, and that combination tends to hold up well. Book in advance during the summer season, when the restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday.

Ranked the number one golf course in Sweden for member and guest satisfaction, Visby Golf Club at Kronholmen is a destination in its own right. The 18-hole championship course was originally laid out in 1958 and thoroughly redesigned by professional golfer Pierre Fulke and architect Adam Mednickson, resulting in a par-72 layout that makes full use of Gotland's limestone terrain and coastal exposure. Several holes play directly alongside the Baltic Sea, and the views throughout are exceptional. A 9-hole course runs alongside the main layout, well suited as a warm-up or a shorter round. The clubhouse restaurant serves lunch and dinner on a terrace overlooking the water, and is worth visiting even for those not playing. Open to visitors throughout the season, with tee times bookable in advance.
