The main volume holds a large open-plan living room and kitchen, arranged as one continuous space with an open fireplace at its center. Generous glazing runs along the sea-facing side, framing Skälderviken and drawing natural light deep into the room through the day. The layout is rational and warm, with a tactile sequence of spaces built around everyday use rather than ornamentation. The kitchen sits within the same volume, making it the natural gathering point for cooking and shared meals, with the terrace and pool just beyond the glass.
Four bedrooms accommodate up to 10 guests. Three bedrooms have 180 cm double beds, and one bedroom has custom-built bunks sleeping four, well suited for children or additional guests. Three bathrooms serve the property, with three showers in total including one outdoor shower. Premium linen and towels throughout.
The garden works as a direct extension of the architecture. Gravel surfaces, large raw boulders, and stiff coastal grasses planted to catch the wind define the terrain, their movement and sound merging with the waves just beyond. A 3 by 10 meter swimming pool is integrated into the landscape, and a sauna completes the wellness offering. An outdoor kitchen with a grill and refrigerator, a wood-fired pizza oven, and a timber pergola dining area create sheltered spaces for cooking and eating outside. Mature willow, mulberry, and walnut trees, preserved from the original site, provide shade and shelter against the open horizon. The sea is fifteen meters away on foot. An electric vehicle charger is available on site.
Villa Poppys Paviljong is located on the Kulla Peninsula, a distinct stretch of land between the Kattegat and the waters of Skälderviken on Sweden's northwest coast. The landscape is defined by steep rock formations and deep beech forests, with a strong local culture of agriculture and culinary heritage. Rather than a conventional resort area, this part of the coast is quiet and unhurried. Arild is 10 minutes away, Höganäs 15 minutes, Mölle 20 minutes, and Helsingborg 30 minutes by car. Ängelholm Airport is 30 minutes, and Copenhagen Airport approximately 90 minutes.
