A living room, glass veranda, and dining room form the social heart of the property — well suited to long evenings after a day on the river or mountain. The fully equipped kitchen supports both self-catering guests and private chef experiences. A basement provides practical storage for outdoor gear, fishing rods, and skis.
Seven bedrooms across three floors — five with double beds and two with single beds — accommodating up to 10 guests. For the most comfortable arrangement, seven guests is ideal, taking into account seating capacity in the dining room and sitting room. Three and a half bathrooms serve the property throughout. Daily housekeeping is included as standard.
A private garden of approximately 4,000 m² surrounds the villa, with the river close at hand and farmland stretching beyond. Private parking and an electric vehicle charger are available on site. Helicopter landings can be arranged by prior arrangement for those arriving directly from further afield.
Villa Lysvoll is located in Stryn, in the Nordfjord region of western Norway — one of the most dramatic natural landscapes in Scandinavia. Fjords, mountains, and glaciers define the surroundings. The nearest airport is Ørsta/Volda Airport at approximately one hour by car. Sandane Airport is around one hour and fifteen minutes away. Bergen Airport is approximately five hours; Oslo Airport around five and a half. Otta Railway Station offers rail connections to Oslo, Trondheim, and Åndalsnes, with the drive to Lysvoll taking approximately two hours and forty-five minutes. Private transfers from airports and the railway station can be arranged on request.
